LOVE’S SACRED EMBRACE IS CHANGING ITS FOCUS.  THIS IS THE PREVIOUS MISSION STATEMENT.

This blog is an outgrowth of the ongoing series of marriage enrichment retreats at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church in Carmel, Indiana.  It is neither sponsored by nor affiliated with the church.  It is organized by and intended for couples committed to the joyful experience of sacramental marriage.

We have chosen to celebrate God’s love for the vocation of marriage by calling our retreats Love’s Sacred Embrace.  We acknowledge that committed, successful marriages are built upon a foundation of trust, respect and intimacy, both emotional and physical.  If you share these beliefs, we invite you to participate in this blog, regardless of your faith.  Much of the content will be derived from Catholic sources.  However, to the extent that information is consistent with our own values, we invite readers to post links to articles and sites that will enrich all of us.
